Method of sterization that mayb d f d matertils that are heat stable inr.de steam under presaire (autodave), chemkal (formaklehyde) vapour, and &y ht. Out of these three methods steam under pressure i.e. autodaving is the most dependable method of sterilization, where the instruments are exposed to steam under pressure of 15 pounds at 121 degree Cel.is for 15 minutes.

Dental clinics have been a focus of attention as dental instruments are possible agents for pathogenic transmission from patient to patient, from patient to doctor and vice versa. With the increasing risk of cross infections by Hepatitis B and HIV viruses, the dental facilities are bound to observe the same stringent rules in sterilization of instruments, and disinfection/maintenance of the operatories. That is the reason why we have equipped our center with some of the best methods to maintain sterilization & disinfection. In addition to routine chemical cleaning & boiling of instruments we are taking these special additional measures:

  • Instruments are cleaned using an Ultrasonic Cleaner
  • Instruments & surgical kits are sterilized using a high end Front Loading Autoclave
  • After sterilization the instruments are stored in Ultra Violet Cabinet to maintain sterilization till they reach your mouth!
  • Small burs & root canal instruments are sterilized using Glass Bead Sterilizer.
  • Even the disposable needles and syringes are destroyed using Needle Burner to eliminate accidental re-use or further misuse!

As you know, many of the diseases like Typhoid, Hepatitis A, Cholera etc are transmitted through water. So, the water running in the handpieces used in your mouth as well as the drinking water served at our clinic is purified using reverse osmosis process combined with ultra violet filtration. This happens to be the best in-house water purification method.
